Kansas City has had a unique history with baseball. We all know about the Kansas City Monarchs and how great they were during the days of Negro League baseball, and once they disbanded, people tend to forget that Major League Baseball came to Kansas City before the Royals, the Athletics before they moved to California.

While they may not have had the same kind of history that the Cardinals have had, they still have made many memories and historical moments in baseball history. Not to mention, they won their first World Series at the expense of the aforementioned franchise.
